Male pups ready to go, and planned litter

Posted by Susan Russell on March 15, 2013 at 3:40 AM

The pups have mostly gone to their new homes and are enjoying their new lives with their forever homes.  I have two males available to competition homes, one that has slightly less drive that would be good for competition/hunting companion/active home, and one that is perfect as a companion or hunting companion for a person who is looking for a steadfast pal to join a comfortable steady home.

I have my last girl getting ready to go to Norway in two weeks, and a pup getting ready to go to Washington this weekend as well.   PHEWF long haul.

Crazy as it may seem I am already planning my next litter as the sire and dam are getting on in years and it is now or never!  The pedigree is super exciting as it will be a proven dual pedigree!  A litter sister to the sire, and a litter brother to the dam of my proposed litter were bred three years ago by Cassie Allen at Mythodical Irish Setters and that litter produced show champions, multi field trial placing dogs, and a female who not only went Select Bitch from the field trial class at the National specialty show in 2012, but is also just a single point from finishing her Dual Championship at only three years old!  The pedigree has multiple BIS and BISS winning dogs, ROM's (field and show,) sire and dam out of two different modern day dual champions, as well as dogs from the long time dual kennels Karrycourt and Bright Star.

On another note, Mark Bunter and Odysseus garnered another broke stake placement in California!  Not bad for a 16 month old dog!
